Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food is one of nation’s largest food drives that Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers participate in to support their local food pantries and hunger-relief agencies.

For this drive, Cub Scouts walk canvas local neighborhoods in predetermined areas distributing hang tags to houses containing information about the food collection and requesting donations. The following week, he Boy Scouts return to collect the food and deliver it to a local food bank.

This is a fun community service project that our Pack does in conjunction with St. Anastasia’s Boy Scout Troop 315.
