Monthly Hiking

General Info

Hiking is more than getting from point A to B, it’s about connecting with nature!

Pack 315 is committed to conduct at least 1 hike per month, of varying difficulty. While focusing on developing an appreciation for the outdoors and caring for our environment, our monthly hikes will aim to teach scouts the importance of being prepared, navigating trails, staying hydrated, and personal safety.

Some potential hike destinations include:

  • Pawling Farm Commissary and River loop

  • Cedar Hollow Preserve Trail

  • Haverford Reserve

  • Ridley Creek State Park Trail

  • Brandywine Creek State Park

  • Mill Creek Trail

  • Sugar's Bridge Nature Trail

All Cub Scout ranks will be given hiking opportunities!
